Emergency Action: Stop GOP's Redistricting Coup

The Cheater-in-Chief knows Republicans can’t win the 2026 midterms without stealing our votes in red states, so they’re rigging the Congressional maps.
Democrats must fight back HARD, and California’s leading the battle to stop partisan power grabs in other states. The Election Rigging Response Act is a proposed amendment to the state Constitution that will preserve our Congressional districts until the next census in 2030. Help get this on the November 4th ballot, so we can protect our districts against election rigging.
The California legislature began debate on Monday August 18 about the Election Rigging Response Act maps. There's a short window for us to submit public comments. The California State Assembly's page is here, and the State Senate's page is here. We need them to understand why the Act must become law, and we have to act now - the legislature only has until Friday, August 22 to put a constitutional amendment on the November ballot.
The most important thing you can do now to get these maps passed is to post your public comments TODAY in favor of the Election Rigging Response Act. We have to ensure fair representation in Congress, we can’t let Trump and the Republicans rig the 2026 election.
The legislature must empower California voters to protect our economy, our rights, and our democracy.
Republicans force their maps on voters without a choice, this is the most transparent approach in the country.
All states should have independent redistricting. Under this plan we’d keep our independent commission since the Act will only take effect if red states put into effect partisan gerrymandering.
Trump started this blatant power grab to rig elections and cling to power. California Democrats must fight back!
This is our best chance to restore checks and balances, and stop Trump and the Republicans' cruel and corrupt regime.
If Californians don’t act now, Trump will seize total power for two more years. We can’t afford that!

I believe in fair elections. That being said I believe that we need to recognize that in these times we are not playing by the same rules as republicans. Therefore we need to redistrict to fight fire with fire.
Hi support independent distrciting but in these times we must do whatever we need to ensure fair elections and stop a dictar from taking over our government.
